Forum Ökumene

The new series of Pro Oriente (since 2015) publications is called Forum Ecumene and is edited by the Commission of Young Orthodox and Catholic Theologians, which was founded in 2011 with the aim of developing new ecumenical impulses for the Catholic-Orthodox dialogue.

In the series, texts and contributions, in particular by the Pro Oriente commission of Young Orthodox and Catholic Theologians, are published. They are concerned with the official Catholic-Orthodox dialogue and reflect on its results bringing them into the broader ecumenical and theological discourse. The commission was founded in Vienna in 2011. Its members are invited at the suggestion of advisers and by decision of the board of the Pro Oriente foundation.
