Ecumenical Workshop: Call for Applications

This workshop aims at fostering a vision of unity, collaboration, and active engagement among young Christians across denominational lines to positively impact both Church and the wider society.

The workshop will focus on:

- Ecumenical Formation and Dialogue – Encouraging conversations between different Christian traditions to promote mutual understanding and cooperation

- Spiritual Unity – Finding common ground in worship and prayer while respecting and valuing different traditions

- Leadership Development – Equipping young leaders with the skills to navigate and contribute to both church renewal and societal transformation

The workshop is open for committed young people (age 20-28) from all Churches at home in Europe (from Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Protestant Church families), who are active in their own Church, in ecumenical work, or in society, and who are interested in ecumenical dialogue and cooperation as well as multicultural exchange.

The workshop will take place in a unique setting, in the Benedictine Monastery “Stift Admont” in the Styrian mountains (cf. https://stiftadmont.at/en/). Places are limited. PRO ORIENTE will select around 20 young people from all applying, representing the diverse Church affiliations, countries and gender.

For participants, travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
